Spotlight: Improving from a low base as hurdler/chaser; had plenty in hand when winning a handicap chase at Roscommon in August; raised to 94 for that and was able to take advantage of a 12lb lower hurdles mark when beating Kazbek over this trip at Punchestown three weeks ago; the rematch looks crucial to the outcome here; up 8lb, cheekpieces fitted.

Spotlight: Maiden ran some fine races in defeat last season; out of form for a spell before a reassuring display behind Another Challenge over this trip at Punchestown three weeks ago; has gone up 3lb, every chance he can turn the tables on the winner who is 8lb higher.

Spotlight: Maiden form was quite modest; made a bright start in handicap company with Tramore third in August; solid fourth of 16 at Roscommon in September; up in trip now, solid each-way chance if staying this far.

Spotlight: Back from a spell chasing with a solid second at Downpatrick (2m6f, good) in August; failed to run to that level 15 days later at Ballinrobe; dropped away in the last furlong of a 3m2f handicap chase at Sligo last month.

Spotlight: French import; showed improvement in a first-time hood when fourth in a 16-runner handicap at Clonmel last month; worth considering.

Spotlight: Weak maiden form and has a long absence to overcome; in good hands with a top rider booked, so any market support would be potentially significant.

Spotlight: Placed in a bumper last season; 0-7 hurdling; well held in handicaps, most recently at Wexford in August; has joined Ian Donoghue; perhaps the change of scene will produce improvement; possible dark horse in this low grade.

Spotlight: Low-rated Flat handicapper for John McConnell; showed mild promise over hurdles in the summer; makes handicap debut; a first runner for Jordan Kidd.

Spotlight: Generally consistent form in handicap hurdles over the summer without winning; ran over fences last time; 1-21 hurdles record is a negative, but placed on six occasions.

Spotlight: Placed over 2m6f at Ballinrobe on last year's handicap debut; 66-1 when pulled up on reappearance at Listowel; faded to finish towards the back over 3m here last month.

Spotlight: Weak form in Britain; hard to fancy on the evidence of three starts for Gordon Elliott, never closer than eighth place in handicaps at three different trips.

Spotlight: Placed in maidens at Kilbeggan and Downpatrick in the summer; recent form has been less encouraging; however, she comes from a local stable whose runners command respect here; second reserve.

Spotlight: Has come back to original trainer from Olly Murphy; tongue-tied when landing Uttoxeter handicap over this trip in June; struggled without the tongue-tie at Tramore last month, back on now.

Spotlight: Not a bad effort on good ground in a Down Royal maiden hurdle in April; may have needed the run on handicap/seasonal debut at Gowran; plenty of improvement required all the same.

Spotlight: Failed to show any sign of winning potential last season; signed off with two poor runs in March; one slight positive is a mid-division run over C&D in January, a race in which he was hampered twice.

Spotlight: Only once in the frame from 11 hurdle starts; down the field in handicaps here and at Limerick last month after a mildly promising fourth in a Tramore maiden.

Spotlight: Weak form in maidens; big price when down the field over 2m at this track in his first handicap; third reserve.

Spotlight: Poor maiden form; no encouragement from her initial handicap attempts over 2m6f at Downpatrick and 2m at this venue; first reserve.

Spotlight: Weak maiden form; 80-1 when pulled up at Limerick last month in her first handicap.
