Spotlight: Runner-up over hurdles in May and took his record to 2-2 on the AW when making all at Southwell (1m3f, AW) last month, pulling clear with one who has since finished second in a Listed race; has now won his last three starts on the Flat and a 6lb rise may not be enough to prevent a bold bid.

Spotlight: Chepstow winner in May over 1m2f and made a winning AW debut here over 1m3f in June (had the hood removed); raised 6lb for that success but he should have no problem with the extra furlong and has good claims.

Spotlight: Made a winning debut at Southwell (1m4f, AW) last September and finished a 2l second of eight behind Constitution Hill in a novice over this C&D in March; however, he didn't get home when sent off favourite on his handicap debut at Newbury (2m) and was tailed off at Ascot (1m4f) in May; returning to the AW may help.

Spotlight: Bumper winning who made a successful debut in this sphere in a 1m3f maiden here in March before running well in a 1m4f Listed event; however, she was well held on her handicap debut at Nottingham (1m2f, good) in June and now returns to the AW with better needed.

Spotlight: Held on to beat Dust Cover by a nose here over 1m3f on his stable debut in May before a disappointing run at Goodwood (1m4f, good to soft), taking his record on turf to 0-5; could bounce back returned to this surface.

Spotlight: Landed a competitive handicap at Lingfield (1m4f, AW) in April before being placed on his next two starts, but he was tailed off over this C&D in May; a 77-day break may have done him some good and he could bounce back.

Spotlight: French turf/AW winner (7.5f/1m2f) in 2023; yet to be placed for this stable but he almost certainly needed his first start for 806 days when sixth of seven at Chester (1m2f, good) last time; dropped another 3lb and he may take a step forward.

Spotlight: Progressive for Charlie Fellowes, winning five times on turf (1m2f/1m4f); however, he's been well beaten in four starts for this stable and has been absent for another 410 days; best watched.

Spotlight: Dual winner for Roger Varian for 2023, including when pulling clear here over 1m3f; was returning from a huge absence when beating only one rival home here in a race won by The Green Mile in June and needs to leave that well behind.
