Spotlight: 50-1 runner-up at York (6f, good) in June but soundly beaten on both runs since, most recently third of four at Leicester (6f, good to firm).

Spotlight: Disappointing at Newmarket (6f, good) last time but in good form previously, winning at Redcar (6f, good to firm) then runner-up at Newmarket (6f, good to firm); second in this in 2024 (soft) and not written off.

Spotlight: Won in a big field at Newbury (6f, soft) last October but down the field on all three starts this season and a major turnaround is necessary in a first-time visor (replacing blinkers).

Spotlight: 7yo who has a poor strike-rate and was underwhelming at Carlisle and Ripon on last two outings; a return to form is needed but he was runner-up three times in a row earlier in the summer, with two of those over C&D, and his last win came over C&D; might not be far away back here.

Spotlight: 3yo who has been well beaten in four of his five handicaps, although he was out of the weights when back up to 7f at Goodwood last time and it was over this C&D (good to firm) that he won two starts ago; not discounted.

Spotlight: 3yo who produced some good runs in defeat in the first part of this season and she's on a tempting mark on that evidence; however, she's finished down the field on her last two starts and has to get back on track.
