Spotlight: Versatile ground-wise and has won one of just two C&D starts; in good form this year, adding to an earlier Sandown win (good to firm) with a powerful display at Epsom (about 1m, good to soft) on Thursday; likely to give a good show under penalty with Billy Loughnane up for the first time.

Spotlight: Multiple winner who usually gives a good account on this track, winning over C&D (good) in May 2025, and is on a winnable mark; showed signs of a revival on Wolverhampton AW last week after a relatively quiet patch and can be on the premises.

Spotlight: Just lost out on handicap debut here in May and two wide-margin wins followed, over C&D and at Carlisle (good to firm and good); has taken a steep rise in the weights but subsequent defeats aren't conclusive evidence that he's reached his peak; likely to figure.

Spotlight: Lightly raced filly; successful return to 6f at Leicester (good to firm; first-time cheekpieces) in July and was only just seen off at Haydock (7f) next time; however, she has a poor record in 1m handicaps so far.

Spotlight: Has improved since back on turf this year, coming home strongly when making a winning return from a break at Newmarket (1m, good) in June; has run respectably since without progressing and likely needs a shade more kept on a 7lb higher mark than for the win.

Spotlight: Winning start over 1m on Southwell AW in January but things haven't worked out for him in handicaps since, including over this C&D in July; has some work to do now.

Spotlight: Good to soft ground was probably against him when well held at Salisbury recently but, even though most of his best form is on the AW, he can't be ruled out off a useful turf mark on his best grass form in 2025; a revival is possible.

Spotlight: Somewhat mixed this year but he ran two good races at Sandown in midsummer (1m, good to firm) when the visor was discarded, putting up stout resistance against Marsh Benham in July; not so good since but he's weighted to reverse those placings if he's on his game.

Spotlight: Sole win in three-runner 7f maiden on AW; has been thereabouts over 7f on sand this year but she was well held in two turf handicaps at Ascot and Newmarket last October and still has to prove 1m is her trip.

Spotlight: Highly tried and down the field in sole turf start, in a Newmarket sales race last October, but she soon made her mark on the AW this year, winning a 7f maiden and 1m handicap at Newcastle; improvement petered out at Kempton in February but she has scope to do better back on turf.

Spotlight: Just scraped home in a tight finish for 7f maiden on Wolverhampton AW last December; she wasn't seen again until May but her close fourth there (about 1m) suggests she has a good run in her if overcoming the lack of turf experience and another break.
