Spotlight: Maiden hurdler made a bright start to chasing when close third to Springboard in C&D handicap early this month, not getting clearest of runs in closing stages; 4lb better off with that rival here so definite claims.

Spotlight: Heavy-ground hurdles winner last season (2m) and off the mark over fences on second attempt when taking C&D handicap early this month, wearing down runner-up late on (yielding-to-soft); 6lb rise seems plenty but could well have more to offer.

Spotlight: Improved handicap hurdler last term, decisive winner over 2m1f at Clonmel in February (heavy) and decent third off 10lb higher at Wexford following month; reappears for chase debut in handicap company off same mark and could go well if forward enough.

Spotlight: Two hurdle wins at right-handed tracks last year; 0-8 chasing but some good runs over the summer, including C&D third at the festival off 1lb higher; Tramore track may not have suited on latest, definite contender on overall profile.

Spotlight: Maiden hurdler went straight into handicap company for recent chase debut but reportedly didn't handle the track at Tramore; others preferred at this stage.

Spotlight: Improved handicap hurdler of late in 2m Tramore contests, most recently keen enough but asserting from the last in amateur riders contest early this month; goes chasing now (two half-brothers were winning chasers).

Spotlight: Winning hurdler is 0-5 chasing, shaping promisingly in Roscommon beginners' but well held in handicaps twice since; handicapper relenting but remains opposable.

Spotlight: Regressive after winning a competitive handicap chase for Pat Fahy at Navan in March 2025; best effort for some time off this much-reduced mark here early this month when chasing home a 10l winner in an admittedly weak 2m6f handicap; more needed here in a stronger contest and trip on the short side.

Spotlight: Six wins split evenly between hurdles (once here) and fences including 3m Fairyhouse handicap chase this time last year; reappeared recently when attempting repeat win, tiring from two out; expected to come on for that and softer ground no problem.

Spotlight: Four career wins include last term in 2m4f Gowran handicap chase and 2m Clonmel handicap hurdle, both on heavy; absent since faller (weakening) two out over fences at Tramore in April so may need this.

Spotlight: Just fair hurdles form and not too much to take from two runs in beginners' chases, latest after summer break at Gowran early this month; potential improver now entering handicaps and yard among the winners of late.

Spotlight: Maiden over hurdles and beaten a long way in beginners' chases; 6yo may do better but hard to be confident in now entering handicaps.

Spotlight: Maiden hunter chaser and struggled in handicaps until coming good off reduced mark at Tramore last season (2m6f, soft); mixed form off revised mark afterwards, pulled up when last seen in March; probably best watched on return.
