Spotlight: All ten wins at 5f; last scored just over a year ago on good to firm but he's got plenty of form on a softer surface and ran well when runner-up in Epsom's "Dash" in June; also performed with credit at Glorious Goodwood and could be the type to bounce back from a lesser effort at Pontefract a fortnight ago; having just his second outing here since winning a C&D novice back in 2021.

Spotlight: C&D winner last spring who has largely been in good nick since cheekpieces went on in May, winning at Haydock (his fourth win there) and also at Carlisle (5f, good to soft) in June; has never won off a mark this high but he ran well from it at Hamilton last time and soft ground would hold no fears; should be on the premises.

Spotlight: Back to form when taking advantage of a reduced mark at Hamilton (5f, good to soft) in June; well beaten at Chester (6f) next time but good ground offers a plausible excuse and this stiff 5f will suit; confidence would increase with every drop of rain.

Spotlight: His three wins for this yard include a soft-ground success at Doncaster just under a year ago; went close at Pontefract in June and the door opened again when getting up late at Newcastle (again 5f, AW) last Thursday; hasn't won off a mark this high since 2022 but it's not hard to see him going well on his first visit to Beverley.

Spotlight: Ex-Irish (one win); has started to threaten for this yard and he wasn't beaten far when fourth of 11 at Hamilton (5f, good to soft) last Friday; dropped a further 2lb and he won't mind what the weather does; considered.

Spotlight: Soft-ground specialist but it was good ground he won on when snapping a two-year losing sequence at Musselburgh (5f) one month ago; was found to have bled from the nose that day and subsequently gelded; up 2lb but his 2yo form would make him a good thing off this mark should that signal a resurgence.

Spotlight: Won over C&D (soft) on her debut last July, which was the start of a decent 2yo campaign; reappeared with a 5f AW win in March and back in form on her last two starts, a very good fourth of 16 in the 3yo "Dash" at Epsom in June followed by another fourth at Lingfield (5f, AW) last month; now just 2lb above her last winning mark.

Spotlight: Won six times on AW last year; has just one success on turf (good to firm on his debut in 2022) but he was placed on both starts here and last time's third of seven at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) was a solid effort; regularly stays away from ground worse than good so probably doesn't want any rain, which is forecast.

Spotlight: Yet to score this term but his sixth of 21 at the Ebor festival (6f, good to firm) indicated he might be rediscovering his level; that didn't prove the case at Windsor last time but he's too well handicapped to ignore and rain would certainly not hinder him.

Spotlight: Made all at Chester (5f, good) this spring and two of his last three defeats have come in very big fields at the major festivals; ran well to be beaten a short head in between and he shouldn't mind any easing of conditions; mark okay and could go well back down in grade.
