Spotlight: Progressive colt is still lightly raced with just seven starts; improved form this year, winning twice at the Curragh, notably a demolition job over this trip in the Listed Orby Stakes; not as good over 1m2f in the Group 3 International Stakes next time; this is his first run since but he goes well fresh and has run well at this track so looks the one to beat even carrying a 3lb penalty.

Spotlight: Won the Group 2 Golden Fleece Stakes over 1m at this meeting as a 2yo (beating Delacroix) but hasn't really gone on as expected; has been running to a decent level in defeat this year, best effort when just denied by Ethical Diamond over C&D last time; a player.

Spotlight: Won a Curragh maiden on debut last year but ran poorly in a Group 3 here next time; however, he resumed his progressive profile this term, winning premier handicaps over 1m1f here and 1m4f at Galway; has to find a fair bit more raised in class but that is possible coming from this source so not ruled out.

Spotlight: Third runner for yard; impressive Curragh maiden winner on his second start as a 2yo; improved from his seasonal reappearance to win the Group 3 Derby Trial over 1m2f here, then was a fine third in the big race itself; however, he was poor in the Irish Derby and has been gelded in the meantime; needs a return to his best.

Spotlight: One of three runners for yard; a record of 4-18; won the Group 3 Ballyroan Stakes over C&D last year before a fourth in this race; has won two Group 2s this year, at Riyadh in January (1m7f) and the latest at Longchamp over 1m6f; this trip might be too sharp and he is penalised 5lb.

Spotlight: Showed decent 2yo form, winning a Galway maiden on second start and running creditably behind stablemates in pattern races after; not a bad return in the 1m6f Listed Vinnie Roe Stakes here but needs lots more today.

Spotlight: Is lightly raced for his age but is dual Group 3 winner over 1m2f and won a Windsor Listed event over 1m4f last year; the best of two runs this year was when second to Rebel's Romance in the Group 2 Princess of Wales Stakes last time; has to be considered.

Spotlight: Second runner for yard; hurdle winner also ran three times over fences without success but was an improved mare once kept to the Flat last year; won three times including a Group 3 and was second in Melbourne Cup; got back to her best when winning a Goodwood Group 2 last time; however, this trip is on sharp side and she is penalised 5lb.

Spotlight: Maiden winner as a 3yo ended the Flat season with a rating of 95; didn't really take to hurdling over the winter but has improved back on the Flat this year, easily winning a Curragh premier handicap winner over this trip in June; however, wasn't as good at this level at Goodwood since.

Spotlight: Smart dual-purpose sort has won four races apiece over hurdles and on the level; was a close third to stablemate Ethical Diamond in the Group 3 Ballyroan Stakes over C&D last time, 1l behind Green Impact; can run well again but needs more to win.
