Spotlight: 525,000gns yearling who is a brother to 7f Listed winner Saber Strike; Aidan O'Brien second string when eye-catching second of 19 at 14-1 on recent debut at the Curragh (6f, good to firm); takes a swift leap in grade here but he's the sole Ballydoyle runner and could be a very bright prospect.

Spotlight: All six starts on good/good to firm; he's found one too good in 6f Group 2 races on his last three starts and there's the worry the same thing will happen today; however, it's possible the winners he has bumped into are better than the rivals he faces here, and perhaps the first-time cheekpieces will eke out something extra; he can be bang there once more.

Spotlight: Suited by the step up to 6f with 2l Listed third to Arapaho Gold at Newbury (good to firm) last month and improved again when runner-up in Group 3 at Deauville (6f, good) since; bumped into an exciting filly in France and could have a part to play; unraced on slow ground.

Spotlight: Runner-up on debut (5f, AW) before going one better at Hamilton (5f, good), and he belied his 66-1 odds when keeping on for a fine third in the Group 3 Molecomb at Glorious Goodwood (5f, good to firm) last month; the step up to 6f could be a positive and he might not be far away.

Spotlight: Promising third on debut over C&D (good) in May and built on that when third of 21 in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot (5f, good to firm) two months ago; his strong finish last time firmly suggests today's return to 6f will be ideal and he's on the shortlist.

Spotlight: Went close on debut at Windsor (6f, good to firm) in June and made all at Ascot (6f, good to firm) last month; today is a much tougher test of his credentials but his dam was a 5f Listed winner and his respected trainer has stated he has "masses of scope to go on in the future"; not ruled out.

Spotlight: All four starts over 5f on good/good to firm; 5l win at Beverley on second run before near-miss behind Matteo there and 2l fourth in Listed race at Sandown last time; it seems likely his limitations will again be exposed.
